Xtragr8ful needs a chair

I am in desperate need of a power wheelchair!

I have to have my leg amputated and want to get the medical equiptment needs taken care of now.  I am immobile at present but my old wheelchair is not electric and is falling apart from age. I am unable to go anywhere or get out of house.

I need a powerchair to keep up with my 7 and 8 year old grandsons, who I have adopted.  I cannot do anything with them currently and their youth is whisking by quickly.  I have missed so much already.

I am on medicaid which does not pay for power chairs. If you could find someone possibly  donating a chair, I would be extremely grateful(xtragr8ful):) How can I thank you enough for being my angel when I really need one?  Words cannot express my appreciation for this gift of help that you bring at this time in my life. I thank you so much and may God bless you with health, and true happiness!

 in response to Integrityrules...

Thanks so much for your kind thoughts.  I wish we could all help each other out and give each other what we need.  Money or prayers, kind words or whatever is needed. But, this is my lowest as far as income goes.

In answer to your question, no the boys did not ever get a gift.  They still ask every couple days if it is their birthday. I feel just terrible lying to them.  Now, they need shoes and clothes to start school on top of everthing else.  If not for them needing me, I would have given up and crawled into a hole.

I hope you and your children are well.  I hope your keeping strong and finding less anxiety. Thanks again for your thoughts and please keep us in your prayers.

God Bless~Laura

I really wish I had the money to send you for a powerchair, you seem like such a compassionate person -

I am curious though, were you ever able to get gifts for your boys? I have been in similar situations before and its so hard to be there. I might be able to help out with a little something - even though my arrival to this website was a bit too late, maybe they wont know the difference. Let me know.

Hi,

This is tough to do but here's what's going on. I am bed or chair bound do to multible major health issuses

and been hosptalize 10 times in 07. I have $25 to $30 left over from my SSDI a month nd saved

up the money (almost a year) for a computer. I'm so lonely just sitting here waiting to die. I got an emac from ebay and got a computer that is broken and will probally not get a refund. I have a lot of software and stuff but most take a g-4 to work. If you can fix my emac or have something sitting around I will try to pay shipping on it. I hate to beg and god i wish i could work and not have to ask for things. I'm on hospic care

and there must be more to live ,than the visting nurse and morphen patches.

Thank you

Jypson
